Police in Central Nigeria are investigating a 65year-old Lebanese, Mr. Simon Foure for alleged sexual abuse of teenage girls in Jos, the capital of Plateau State.

Simon was arrested on Thursday following confessions by one of his victims, a 15 year old who eventually took in for him. Mary Iko (real name withheld) is said to be five months pregnant for Simon, along with another, an 11year-old.

12 other girls, ages 9-12, locals said were recovered from Simon’s house in Abattoir Community, 5kms North of Nigerian Airforce Base, Jos, during a search by vigilante on Friday.

Mrs. Onyeka James and Mrs. Jessica Gyang, both mothers to some of the teen girls said their daughters had been missing for hours until they were found in the Lebanese’s house.

Simon allegedly lured the teenagers with money to have sex with them for sextape. But after his arrest on Thursday, Police allegedly released him from detention, stirring wild protests by locals at the Abattoir Police Outpost.

Special Military Forces, State Service Operatives, Civil Defense Corps and Mobile Policemen had to be deployed to prevent escalation.

He however said only six girls had alleged having been abused by the suspect.

“For now, only six teens alleged that the Lebanese abused them. Investigation is ongoing, the case has been transfered to the State Criminal Investigation Department,” said Ogaba in a text message.
