In a goodwill message on the second day of the 21st Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE conference held in Abuja, the Plateau State Governor, Bar, Caleb Mutfwang ably represented by the Commissioner of Information, Joyce Ramnap, has appealed to the Editors to help change the Plateau narrative.
He said most of the reports about the State is about the terror killings, which have kept many people, even prospective investors away from the State due to fear.
He said rather than focus only on Plateau killings, there are many news worthy developments in the area of agriculture, tourism, infrastructure and improved security , which the world needs to know.
He said despite the security challenges, Plateau State remains one of the most welcoming state, with hospitable people.

He therefore urged the Editors to partner with his administration to tell the Plateau story inorder to attract investors, development and support for the State.
Earlier in September the Governor had hosted the Standing Committee of the NGE. During that visit, the Editors had an interactive session with the Governor in the new government house in Rayfield. The Editors were also taken on a tour of the numerous projects of the Gov. Mutfwang ‘s administration.
The 21st NGE conference, with theme, Democratic Governance and National Cohesion: The Role of Editors,held on 12th-13th November, declared open by President Tinubu had over 400 Editors in attendance cutting across print, broadcast and digital media, aside government officials, captains of industries and politicians.
