President of the Church of Christ in Nations COCIN, and proprietor of Gindiri Schools, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo has said the church will forever remain Indebted to the Schools alumni, GOSA, for their support to the Schools.
The Proprietor said this when he received in audience, the new Executives of the Gindiri Old Students Association, GOSA, who were on a courtesy visit to him at the COCIN headquarters Jos.
The COCIN President thanked GOSA for its many activities especially during their reunion service, noting that without the Gindiri Old Students Association, the schools might have been a mess by now even after many years of their establishment.
He informed the executives of the church’s intention to expand GOSA to involve other COCIN Schools to learn from them.
“We have our aim of expanding it. We value whoever passed through any of the COCIN schools because that person wherever he is and what he is doing is important to us and we love to see them doing God’s work as they did during their days in the School.
He said the Church always attached Karl Kumm University to Gindiri Schools because of the encouragement they are receiving, and assured them of doing everything possible as proprietor to promote their activities.
Rev. Dr. Mohzo also advised those in government among them to stand for the truth all the time and do the right thing as the church is always proud when they see their products occupying prestigious positions.
The New GOSA President who doubled as the Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, Architect Samuel Jatau, informed the COCIN President that they were in his office to introduce themselves and to also receive his fatherly blessings on behalf of all the Excos.
“Sir, we have come with joy as your children to meet our proprietor. We are the newly elected GOSA National Executive and we felt it is right that we come to get your blessings before we can actually start to operate.” Jatau said.
Speaking to Journalists shortly after the interface, Jatau assured that they would do everything possible to add value to the Schools, as they are going to organize a fundraising to put back to the Schools in order to touch the lives of the students and buildings and as well promote academic excellence.
The GOSA President welcome with open arms the intention of the Church to bring other COCIN Schools together, noting that they are all brothers and sisters from the same father.
