An American cleric, Pastor Dan Horn of the Reformation Baptist Church, South Carolina. USA has revealed that lack of the fear of God in the acts of governance at various levels is part of the problems facing the Nigeria nation.
Pastor Horn made this assertion while speaking at an international crusade held in Tafawa Balewa LGA of Bauchi state.
He expressed that Nigeria as a developing nation is facing consistent and daunting challenges because Christians have failed to sincerely pray for Gods intervention in the affairs of men in the country.
The American cleric urged Christians to repent and seek the face of God for cleansing and total healing of the land. He advised Christians in the country to more than ever, repent and turn back to God which is the remedy to the socio-economic and political problems bedevilling Nigeria.
Earlier in a welcome remark, Chairman of Tafawa Balewa LGA of Bauchi state, Hon. Daniel Danjuma Mazadu noted that the crusade would not have come at a better time than now when the country needs a fundamental direction out of its prevailing circumstances. Mazadu who welcome the American team to the home of one time Prime Minister, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa urged Christians in the area to rededicate themselves to God by allowing him work in their lives for the good of the land.
Also in his remark, Chairman Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) Tafawa Balewa branch, Rev. Marcus Musa acknowledged the visitor’s commitment toward transforming rural areas for the better. Musa advised the residents of the area to take advantage of the crusade so as to make better use of their lives.
