Breaking: Nasarawa CAN Chairman Kidnapped

The Nasarawa State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Bishop Joseph Masin was kidnapped last night.

The report has it that the clergy was kidnapped by armed gun men at his residence in Lafia the Nasarawa State Capital by 12:30am of Thursday.

Former Secretary of the State CAN, Elder Yohana Samari who visited the house this morning, informed the Lightbearer that the kidnappers forced their way through the door and picked their target without touching something or anybody.

He said they are yet to receive communication from the kidnappers but appealed to security agencies for proactive measures to rescue the clergyman.

When contacted, the Nasarawa State Police Command through it’s Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, ASP Nansel Ramhan confirmed the incident, noting that a combined team of officers have launched manhunt on the kidnappers.

While appealing to the public for vital information that will aid the Police effort to rescue the victim, ASP Nansel assured the family and the public of professionalism in handling the incident to rescue and arrest the perpetrators.
