
Plateau State Police Command has paraded one Moses Oko, the suspected killer of the 300 level student of University of Jos, Miss Jennifer Anthony.
Parading the suspect alongside 26 others arrested for various crimes, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Bartholomew Onyeka said Miss Jennifer’s killer was trailed and arrested in Benue state.

He said “sequel to the gruesome murder of Miss Jennifer Anthony, a 300 level student of the University of Jos whose lifeless body was found mutilated on 01/01/2022 at Domus Pacis Guest House, Jos by a man named Moses Oko ‘m’, aged 20 years, suspected to be her boyfriend who fled after committing the crime.
“The Command in a bid to arrest the perpetrator launched an aggressive manhunt on the suspect and tactically trailed him to Benue State where he was arrested by hawked-eye police operatives of the Command”.
Father of the suspect, Arch. Joseph Oko who said he is a lecturer with the University of Jos, the same institution where late miss Jennifer Anthony was schooling was present at the Police Command when his son was paraded.

The CP said all the suspects will be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is completed.
He therefore, advised members of the public to report suspicious movements and persons to the Police and other law enforcement agencies to help nib crimes in the bud.

“I also called on all residents of Plateau State to cooperate and synergize with the Police by giving us timely and useful information in order to fight all forms of criminalities” he added.
It could be recalled that video clip of late miss Jennifer and her said boyfriend went viral after her dead body was discovered on the 1st of January and the Police declared him wanted.
