Church Workers Tasked on Unity as Office Closes for the year

COCIN President, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo

The Church Of Christ in Nations’ President,
Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo has appreciated the staff working at the church headquarters for their commitment and called on them to continue to walk in unity.

Reading from Amos 3:1, the President said no one can live alone in this 21st century and survive without the support of another. He added that there is great benefit in working together as a team. He therefore called on the staff to appreciate their diversity and work together as a team in order to achieve the goal of the Church.

According to him actions of selfish individuals makes the church as an organization to suffer. He said God has brought the staff to work together at the headquarters as a team; therefore they should do away with selfishness and work faithfully for the good of all as they complement one another. He rounded up by emphasizing that we all need one another and love is the force that can help us to work in unity.

He used the opportunity to specially appreciate Staff who are leaving the headquarters next year on transfer or retirement for their faithful service during their period of stay at the headquarters and wished them well in their new places of assignment.

The COCIN General Secretary Rev. Assoc. Prof. Benjamin Pokol in his address charged the Staff to brace up as 2023 will not be ‘business as usual’ but ‘business unusual’ because the Church has a new strategic plan that will take effect in 2023.

The COCIN Deputy General Secretary Rev. Dauda Jimra offered special prayers for the staff as they go for the Christmas break and for those going on retirement and transfer to new stations.
