The COCIN President, Rev. Dr. Dachollom Datiri has charged Christians to trust God and obey the rules laid by government by staying safe at home while observing health sanity and social distancing in order to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The spiritual leader said this while speaking during the marriage solemnization of Miss Alheri, the daughter of the Church General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo and Mr. Jelkyes Samuel at COCIN Dashik, Jos South LGA of Plateau State.
He urged the couple to see marriage as an act of Godly worship which signifies unity in the body of Christ.
Also speaking, one time COCIN President and Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Plateau State Chapter, Rev. Dr. SojaBewarang described marriage as the picture of eternity where Christ is the head of the Church and urged the couple to live in love and submission to one another.
Reading the book of Song of Songs 2:14-15, leading Pastor of the Church, Mudindang Gomos spoke on the topic ‘Beware of the little foxes that destroys marriage’.
He urged the couple to shun grumbling, lies, forgiveness and the likes so that they will not destroy God’s union.
