President of Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo has charged staff of the church not to relent or get weary of doing good.
Speaking during an exhortation on Tuesday to mark the official closing of the Headquarters for the 2025 Christmas break, at COCIN headquarters Church in Jos, the President thanked God for keeping the staff safe to the end of the year.
Rev. Dr. Mohzo read from the book of Galatians 6:7-10 and said in life, there is time for sowing, time for reaping as well as the time for resting. He said the apostle Paul gave a practical example of how to live a good life in the society, noting that one cannot reap what he did not sow.
In his words, “as we close from the labour of the year, it is time to reflect on the service we had rendered in the year and on God’s faithfulness.”
The Spiritual Leader encouraged the staff not to forget God as a result of the tediousness of their work at the headquarters even when files piles up or meetings tie them down.
Rev. Dr. Mohzo also stressed the importance of rest, saying he who work well will rest well, but he who does not work well will not rest well.
“Today marks a day you will go home and rest with your families for the Christmas. Use the break and disconnect from the office to reconnect with God and families so as to return refreshed in January, 2026.” He added.
He urged the staff to be security conscious as he prayed God and wished them a Merry Christmas and New year.
The President announced that work will resume on the 12th January, 2026.
