COCIN President Bags Outstanding Personality of the Year Award

Coalition of Civil Society Organization for Good Governance (CCSOGG) has presented an outstanding personality of the year award to the COCIN President, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo.

While presenting the award to the President in his office at the COCIN Headquarters in Jos on Monday, Vice President of the Non governmental organization, Nandak Tyem said they have been following the unblemished records and antecedents of the COCIN President.

She went further to described him as a man full of unadulterated values of humility, hard work, integrity and utmost of all patriotism which has been their source of motivation and moral upbringing.

Miss. Tyem equally added that their organization acknowledged Rev. Dr. Mohzo’s unalloyed commitment and unequal contributions in social security and youth/human development as a genuine patriot.

According to her, he has given so much for the empowerment of youth in Nigeria, among many other attributes and achievements that endeared their organization to choose him for the award.

Responding, the COCIN President, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo thanked them for the award. He said he has been doing his work, not knowing that the were taking notice.

He went on to thank God for what the young people were doing and encouraged them to keep up the spirit of unity. “We need to work together irrespective of our faith. Our religion should not be a dividing factor” he said.

He lamented how godly values have been lost in our communities over the years and urged them to use their knowledge to build Nigeria and not to run away.

Some of the leaders of the organization who accompanied the Vice President, Miss Nandak Tyem were: the National Organizing Secretary, Mr. Auwal Ayuba, the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Danjuma Stephen and a member, Mr. Abubakar Sadiq.
