Officials in Plateau State, Wednesday said they will announce further measures on the ongoing curfew in the State capital after an analysis of the situation by security agencies.
So far, compliance with the 24 hour curfew, the State Governor, Simon Lalong said was satisfactory.
Lalong advised citizens to stay safe and peaceful and also help to fish out ‘criminals’.
The Governor during a tour of areas affected by Tuesday’s violence outside EndSARS protest venues said he was disappointed that some people were taking advantage of the protests to carry out their “hidden agenda”.
The “hoodlums” who killed and attacked properties, Lalong said earlier at a stakeholders meeting, left Government with no choice than to impose a curfew to stop further loss of lives and properties.
