Fear in Nasarawa as self Isolated Governor awaits Covid19 test result

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has gone into self isolation, as precautionary measure against exposure to the Corona virus pandemic.

In a statement issued by the Director General, Strategic Communication and Press Affairs to the governor, Yakubu Lamai, the governor will now work from home.

According to the statement, the Governor has already invited a medical team from the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), who conducted comprehensive tests on him.

The statement added that, so far, all the results from the test, showed negative and that the public will be informed on new developments regarding the health of the Governor, as well as other government officials.

This information has since generated fear in the minds of residents of the state over the governor’s health status and that of some of his aides.

It could be recalled that some governors earlier had contact with the Chief of Staff , Abba Kyari who tested positive to the dreaded corona virus.
