The President of the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo says the Church will resolve all outstanding issues about the Karl Kumm University, KKU so that academic sessions will commence this year.
Speaking at his first official function as the COCIN President, in Bwarak, Pankshin, Rev. Dr. Mohzo assured that the Church will sit as a family and internally address all grievances to pave way for academic activities before the February deadline given by the NUC.
He cautioned members against hating on an individual or group for the temporary setback and charged the entire Church to fervently pray against anything that will hinder the smooth take off of KKU this year.
Rev. Dr. Mohzo noted that the COCIN theme for the year, “Walking in Unity” is carefully selected because no people can succeed in any endeavour unless they unite and work together towards attaining set goals.
“Every COCIN member should see each other as one in Christ irrespective of where you come from because the Church cannot succeed without unity of purpose”, Rev. Dr. Mohzo said.
It could be recalled that the National Universities Commission, NUC suspended the newly issued operational license of the KKU for 6 months for failure to adhere to the laws governing the university.
