Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello has tested negative to COVID-19, one week after testing positive to the disease.
A statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel-Berje, says the Governor is free of the Virus and confirmed fit to resume his official duties following repeat test.
“I am happy to announce to you that I have been confirmed negative and declared fully recovered. I can now resume my official work. I thank you all for your prayers and good wishes” the Governor added.
The Governor announced his COVID-19 status about a week ago via his official Twitter handle, saying he had gone into isolation.
The remedy used by the Governor to treat the disease within such a short period has yet to be made known.
