Niger State renovates Secretariat complex amid COVID-19

Covid-19 infections rising in Niger State

Despite having 22 confirmed cases of COVID-19, Niger state is considering to renovate its secretariat complex.

Briefing newsmen after an executive councils meeting on Wednesday, the State Commissioner of Works, Engr. Ibrahim Ahmed Pandi said “every project is important in human life.”

Other projects approved by the Council according to him, include the dualization of 2.4kilometers Tunga round about to Imani hospital at the sum of N1.286,121,082 by Soject Nigeria Ltd.

“Council also approved the contract of six roads in Kontagora at over N300 million added to the existing ongoing contracts of over N700 million bringing to the tune of N1.035,852,486, 20k in the town,” the Commissioner added.
