The Plateau State House of Assembly has felicitated with the Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang on the occasion of his two years anniversary as the Executive Governor of the State.

The statement stated that “on behalf of the Rt. Hon. Speaker and Honourable Members, the Clark and Staff of the 10th Plateau State House of Assembly, I bring hearty congratulations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on the celebration of his remarkable two years in office.
“Your Excellency, in just two years, you have redefined governance and renewed the hope of Plateau people through overwhelming transformations across all sectors. From the construction and maintenance of rural and urban roads, to the renovation of 82 Primary Healthcare Centres, you have brought infrastructure and healthcare closer to our people.
“Your giant strides in agriculture through the provision of improved seeds, fertilizers, tractors, trainings, and funding support via ACReSAL have empowered our farmers and boosted food security. The restoration of Barc Farm and the Vom Agricultural Centre stand as proud legacies of your commitment to reviving our agro economy.
“In transport, the purchase of Metro Buses has not only improved movement within the state but also strengthened interstate connectivity. Through your pragmatic peace-building efforts, the identity of Plateau State as “The Home of Peace and Tourism” is being restored. The rehabilitation of Plateau Hotel, Hill Station Hotel, the revitalization of the Wildlife Park—complete with proper feeding, fencing, and new wildlife—are bold steps in repositioning Plateau on the tourism map.
“More importantly, your excellence in policy direction and your consistent partnership with us in the 10th Assembly, National Lawmakers, International Donors, Investors, and the Federal Government have brought development, stability, and dignity to our dear state.”
The statement added that the Assembly is proud of the synergy between the Executive and the Legislature which is reflecting in seamless budget processes, impactful bills, and a shared vision for a prosperous Plateau.
The Assembly described the two years journey of the “Time is Now” administration so far as inspiring and that the future is even brighter!
