Member Representing Bokkos State Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly Amurudu Usaini has supported School Children in his constituency with educational materials to aid them achieve their education goals.
The distribution exercise was held at UBE Model Primary School, Bokkos, where the member appealed to successive representatives in Bokkos to work towards complementing his developmental strides .
While making the symbolic distribution of the educational materials to the beneficiaries, the lawmaker, Amurudu Usaini thanked his constituents for the opportunity granted him to represent them in 4 years.
Amurudu said, the book distribution is in line with his Campaign Promise to support education, which is the bedrock of every society in Bokkos Constituency.
He enjoined the committee to share the books judiciously irrespective of religious or political affiliation.
Education Secretary of Bokkos Local Government, Moses Njongs represented by Jacob Mwose lauded the representative’s achievement in the area of education.
Some of the benefitting Students,Tosli Davou and Josiah Markus appreciated the lawmaker’s kind gestures and prayed for him to succeed in life.
Dignitaries who attended the event include traditional rulers, politicians and stakeholders within the education sector in Bokkos, praised Amurudu’s performance despite losing his return ticket to the State Legislature during party primaries.
The education materials distributed includes fifteen thousand exercise books and twelve thousand textbooks to pupils and students of both Primary and Secondary Schools in Bokkos Local Government area.
