Research Partnership Between Karl Kumn Varsity and Federal College of Forestry,  Beneficial to Nigeria- Prof. Jabil

Prof. Yakubu Yerima Jabil, Vice Chancellor of Karl Kumm University, Vom, has disclosed that the much  anticipated joint research partnership with the Federal College of Foresty, Jos would pragmatically become beneficial to Nigerians. 

Speaking during a courtesy call on the Provost of Federal College of Foresty, Jos, Prof Sunday Sambo Mailumo, the Vice Chancellor noted that the college established in 1924 has trained many generations of researchers in Agriculture, Horticulture, Environmental Management and other relevant areas of science.

A statement signed by the Protocol and Information Officer to the Karl Kumn Vice Chancellor, Bulus Gambo quoted Prof Jabil noting that any intellectually focused university would not ignore partnering with the college considering its pedigree in the field of science and research.

The Vice Chancellor solicited for partnership in the areas of academic training and field practical partnership, staff exchange, guest lecturing, and capacity building.

Other areas of collaboration sought by the Vice Chancellor include joint research and model agroforestry, resource sharing, and digital collaboration.

Earlier in his welcome remarks, the Provost of the College, Prof Mailumo commended the Vice Chancellor and his management team for the successes recorded in the institution.

He emphasized on the positive impact the partnership would have on both institutions and the country at large.

Highlighting some specific areas of interests, the Desk Officer Advancement and Linkages, Ulu Ewuga noted that the opening of discussions towards actualizing the Memorandum of Understanding will be approached with humility and reciprocity 

In his vote of thanks, the Registrar, Karl Kumm University, Benjamin Dachomo thanked the Provost and his management team for the warm reception granted them.

He prayed to God to grant both teams the wisdom and strength for the partnership.

The Vice Chancellor and his management team were accompanied on the courtesy call by the Acting Director, Physical Facilities, Arch Nantip Dashe, and a Lecturer with the Department of Business Management and Entrepreneurship Lorenzo Gotau.
